The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Mustafa Sanallah, met on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli, with the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Waha Oil Company, Mr. Nuri Al-Said, in the presence of the member of the Board of Directors for Exploration and Production Mr. Abu Al-Qasim Shanqir, and the member of the management committee of the company Mr. Anwar Al-Sahloul and Mr. Najmy Karim, Director of the Corporation’s Maintenance and Projects Department.
During the meeting, the company’s plans and activities in its various fields and locations were discussed. The discussion focused on completing the maintenance work of the damaged tanks in the Sidra tanks, establishing new ones, and maintaining or replacing the main shipping lines.
The discussion also touched upon the status of the major field projects that are under implementation, which include North Gallo, MN 98 and Gallo III. It is worth noting that some of them have completed basic and detailed engineering work, and some are in the final stages.
The company has also been instructed to pay attention to these projects, which will help double production, and that the company is known for the efficiency of its workers and their technical ability to implement such projects, and the focus has been on benefiting from the experience of partners in this field.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Mustafa Sanallah, gave his directives to the management committee of the company on the necessity of caring for the workers and improving the services provided to them in all aspects in all fields and various sites, stressing that the corporation will provide the necessary support to the Waha Oil Company, as it is one of the leading companies in the sector, and convey his thanks and gratitude for what he provides The workers are from tremendous efforts in order to preserve the company’s assets and return production to its usual levels in record time despite the difficult conditions the sector is going through.
