The director of the Information Office of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Mohammed Al-Khamriya, reported on Friday that the company had halted the work of its factories and units to conduct the annual maintenance.

Al-Khamriya added in a press statement that the company will cease operations from now until mid-April.

It’s worth noting that the Libyan Iron and Steel Company has not conducted any periodic maintenance in recent years due to the lack of spare parts for the units.
