Libya signed the African Union Agreement for establishment of a continental free trade area.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord, head of the Libyan delegation participating in the African Extraordinary Summit in Kigali signed the African Union Agreement for establishment of the Free Trade Area.
The agreement was signed by more than 44 officials and heads of delegations, affirms the determination of African leaders to deepen economic integration through the continental free trade area and to recognize the urgent need to establish an expanded and safe African market for goods and services in the Union.
