Libya, Italy discuss cooperation in education field

The Minister of Education, Othman Abdul Jalil discussed Monday with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Grimaldi, aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli reviewed the scholarship opportunities offered by the Italian government.

Grimaldi confirmed that the Italian Ministry of Education had allocated 25 scholarships for Libyan students, as part of its program for students of foreign countries, noting that it will be made official in the coming period.

He also explained that the ministries of both countries will form a committee to select the students, according to the conditions set by the Italian Ministry of Education.
