Chairman of General Electricity Company (GECOL) met the Indian Ambassador at the premises of GECOL and discussed means to lift the ban on the return of Indian companies to complete the contracted projects for the 400 kV lines in different regions of Libya as well as the return of Bharat Al Hindi Company which is a partner with Electrical Construction Company in implementation of Ruwais station project and the old West Tripoli station for implementing distribution and transportation projects.
It was agreed to open cooperation between GECOL and the Indian companies specialized in electricity sector.
