Waha oil company has increased production by 200.000 barrels per day (bpd) after repairing main pipeline between Samah and Dahra fields to As Sidr port, according to the National Oil Corporation (NOC).

The NOC said the maintenance and repairs were completed on Wednesday after working for 48 hours without a break, thus finishing the job a week earlier than the deadline.

“The speedy repairing work limited the losses caused by oil production stoppage – a total of about two million barrels. We thank all the workers and the management of Waha company for this record-time work.” The NOC added.

The NOC announced a decrease of oil production by 200.000 barrels per day for a week until the pipeline was repaired.
