the Public Fund Management Project – Bab Al Tamkeen project team held a virtual workshop entitled the Primary Health Care Operational Plan for Misurata Municipality.
This plan was presented in cooperation and consultation with the Ministry of Health and Local Government and included two main stages.
The first stage included inventory of the items of the package of medical supplies and medicines, assessing the costs of items and services, studying the readiness of infrastructure, training in preparing reports, inventorying and classifying patient data. The project recently added a number of proposals to the plan to deal with the Corona pandemic in Libya by implementing these proposals in the pilot municipalities.
The second stage is concerned with implementing the gradual transfer of specializations from the Ministry of Health to the municipalities.
This workshop comes within a series of training workshops carried out by the Public Fund Management Team – Bab Al Tamkeen in a number of experimental municipalities such as Misurata, Tripoli, South Zawia, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development.
