The renewal of the electricity network in Khor Oqaida area in the municipality of Brega is the final stage in one of the projects included in an integrated sustainable development program sponsored by National Oil Corporation.
It is expected that the completion of the modernization of the electricity network in this region will be next week. This comes after the delivery of a series of similar projects, including the delivery of water to the district and the extensions of the water line and the power line to the neighborhood and connection of the public electricity network.
This program will contribute to enhancing water and energy security and delivering it to local communities at an estimated cost of over 5.6 million dinars.
Dean of Brega Municipality inspected the project on 1 October 2019 and thanked the Chairman of National Oil Corporation for his active participation in promoting sustainable development within the municipality.
