Despite the many mass killings over the last two years, no one has been held accountable for any of them, UNSMIL chief Ghassan Salamé protested this evening.
Referring to the massacre in Al-Abyar, he said: “I am appalled by this heinous crime. I call for a prompt, impartial and effective investigation to bring perpetrators to justice”.
He added: “There have been many cases of this nature in the last two years, yet no accountability”.
