The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mustafa Sanalla, received the United Nations special envoy to Libya, Mr. Jan Kubis at the National Oil Corporation headquarters in Tripoli on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed ways to support the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and its companies at all levels in order to be able to run the sector’s business, maintain and sustain the current production rates.
In this regard, the UN special envoy, Jan Kubis, expressed deep concern about the challenges facing NOC in the current period, and stressed the need to avoid politicization of this corporation and preserve its integrity and unity, as Libya’s natural wealth should benefit all Libyans through transparent management and fair distribution of wealth and the provision of public services.
