Turkish ambassador to Libya Ahmet Dogan has stated that the workers of the Turkish company Enka will keep on working in the Ubari gas steam station despite the kidnap of four of its personnel last Friday.
Dogan said in a meeting with the Head of the High Council of State, Abdelrahman Al-Sweihli, that Turkey condemns the attack on Derna that killed over 23 civilians and the massacre of Al-Abyar that saw 36 bodieskilled after being tortured.
He also informed Al-Sweihli that his country will take some new measures to facilitate the visa procedures for Libyans from Tripoli-based Turkish embassy, adding that it is working to open a Turkish consulate in Benghazi.
“We are going to open two advanced medical centers in Misurata and Al-Bayda after the Turkish companies finish the last touches by the end of 2017.” The Turkish ambassador added.
The media office of the HCS said Al-Sweihli urged Turkey to demand a session to be held at the UN Security Council to discuss the airstrikes that hit Derna and the war crimes in Benghazi.
