Tunisian exports to Libya increased by 67%

The Director-General of the Tunisian Export Promotion Center, Shehab Ben Ahmed, said that Tunisia’s export transactions to Libya have improved greatly.

Ben Ahmed confirmed in a statement to the Tunisian radio station ‘Mosaique’, that the value of transactions increased over all by 67%, pointing out that the total number of exports improved by eight percent, when compared to the previous year, within the first five months.

Previously, the Libyan-Tunisian Economic Forum was held in Tunisia, witnessing the participation of more than 600 businessmen from both Tunisia and Libya, in addition to various mayors and politicians from both countries, for the purpose of encouraging trade and commerce exchange between the two countries.
