The second technical meeting between NOC, Mellitah and ENI North Africa was held at Mellitah Oil & Gas Company headquarters in Tripoli to discuss Mellitah Oil & Gas Company’s activities, current projects and programs for 2020, in addition to the actual expenses in 2019 and proposed for next year.
The performance of the fields and their oil reserves, the expected production rates of oil and gas and the approved budgets in particular were discussed. The various projects that the company is implementing to increase production and ensure the continuity of operations, including reservoir and laboratory studies and development projects and well maintenance and repair were reviewed.
The activities of the Department of Health, Safety and Environment were discussed and NOC stressed the importance of strict adherence to occupational health and safety standards, in order to ensure a safe working environment for workers in all oil fields. The company also reviewed surface facilities projects and the second phase of Bahr El Salam project.
