The second technical meeting was held on Sunday, 13 September 2019 between National Oil Corporation and Zawia Oil Refining Company at the company’s headquarters in Zawia to discuss the company’s activity in the past period and the objectives to be achieved for 2020.
During the meeting, they reviewed the activities of the Department of Health, Safety and Environment and the security and safety procedures followed in the incidents of leaks, flares and security breaches. The discussion also covered the activities of the departments of products, operation and asphalt plants in Benghazi and the negative effects of delayed budgetary dependence on development projects.
The meeting was attended by Director General of Petroleum Industries, Director of Environment and Safety Department. Director of Refining Department, Chairman of the Management Committee, Director of Technical, Engineering and Projects Management Committee and a number of directors and specialists from both sides.
