The Pakistani Ambassador To Libya Praises The Level Of Bilateral Relations Between His Country And Libya

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord “Muhammad Siala” met the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, “Sajid Eqbal”, on the occasion of the end of his term in Libya. The Information Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord stated that “Siala” stressed during the meeting held at the ministry’s office in the capital, Tripoli, today, Thursday, the need for cooperation between Libya and Pakistan in international forums and coordination towards common files and issues. During the meeting, the Minister thanked Pakistan for the continued work of its embassy from inside Libya, despite the security conditions that the country had gone through.

The Foreign Minister expressed to the Pakistani ambassador his gratitude for his efforts throughout his tenure to promote joint cooperation between the two countries and his thanks to the Republic of Pakistan. For his part, the Pakistani ambassador expressed his country’s desire to strengthen this relationship and cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fields of defense, education, health and manpower. The Pakistani ambassador also extended his deep thanks to the Foreign Minister and to all employees of the ministry, especially the Islamic Administration and other Libyan ministries, for providing all facilities for the success of his duties.
