On Monday morning, September 13th at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) in Tripoli, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng.Mustafa Sanalla, received , Her Excellency the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Caroline Hurndale to Libya, along with her accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Eng.Sanalla, welcomed the Ambassador Herndell, wishing her success in her new assignment as the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Libya.
They also discussed the consolidation of means of joint cooperation between the NOC and British companies working in the field of oil and renewable energies, in addition to harnessing this cooperation to further develop the Libyan oil industry.
In this regard, Eng.Sanalla briefed Herndell on the current status of the oil industry in Libya along with the optimism following recent progression of oil output by the NOC and it’s partners.
The British Ambassador stressed the importance of preserving the independence of the NOC and its neutrality from any conflicts, and the need to support it.
Herndell praised the prominent role that the NOC has, and continues to play in order to support the national economy and achieve stability and prosperity for which the honorable Libyan people aspire.
