Within the framework of the General Administration for Human Resources Development at the National Oil Corporation to raise the level of the training process for the sector and open new horizons for resources and training grounds in order to raise the level of training and development of users in various disciplines.
On Thursday, 11/26/2020, in the main hall of the Foundation’s building, an expanded workshop was held in cooperation and coordination with the Libyan British Businessmen Council (LBBC) under the supervision of the General Administration for Human Resources Development and the Training and Development Department of the Corporation with the participation of the managers of training, development and human resources in the sector companies, and more than 30 British training institutions between universities, institutes and training companies in various disciplines, and representatives of the British Embassy, the British Passport and Immigration Department and the British Professional Education Department, and their participation was through a closed circuit.
During this workshop, possible aspects of cooperation between the General Administration for Resource Development and the National Oil Corporation and the sector companies were reviewed with the various British training bodies. The external training programs proposed to be implemented in 2021 were reviewed and discussed in the qualifying and developmental sections and various specialized short programs.
All training parties participating in the workshop confirmed their desire to resume cooperation in the field of training with the National Oil Corporation and its subsidiaries and their readiness to implement these training programs.
The workshop also reviewed and discussed the various difficulties that prevent the resumption of cooperation in the field of training in Britain, on top of which is the difficulty in obtaining a British visa for the sector employees sent for training and their accompanying families, and in this regard, all concerned parties from the British side, participants in the workshop, expressed their understanding of these difficulties. And their full cooperation to find appropriate solutions to it, and a series of measures have been agreed upon in order to facilitate obtaining the British visa for sector users.
