A ceremony was held Friday for the Libyan Society of Cosmetic Dermatology in Tripoli. A representative of the Parliament and the director of the Department of Health Services Tripoli attended the ceremony as well as the chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Society, several specialists and doctors from all cities of Libya. Several medical supplies companies sponsored the ceremony.
The ceremony was opened with speeches through which the association’s objectives were declared.
The chairman of the society, Yasser Al-Qarmadi, said that “Dermatology has witnessed in the last years’ remarkable progress globally. It no longer focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, but closely followed the movement of medical development and other aspects.Through this association, we aim to have a base and reference for dermatologists. More than one hundred doctors have joined us during this month. This is a good step and a great start for the association. The membership door is open to all dermatologists in Libya”.
