The Libyan Iron and Steel Company announced the production of 102,223 tons of sponge iron, which is an achievement that has not been reached for 12 years.
The company said in a statement that the first and second units of the General Administration of Direct Reduction factories reached this achievement last October, with an increase of 123.7%.
