The National Oil Corporation participated in the opening of the ninth edition of the Petro Africa Oil Exhibition and Conference, held at the Exhibition Palace in Tunis .
The exhibition will continue from June 25 to 28, with the participation of 220 institutions specialized in the oil and gas industry, renewable energy, transportation and logistics, from Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Italy and a number of African, Arab, Asian and European countries .
The participation of the Libyan oil sector is of exceptional importance, as this edition of the exhibition falls within the framework of a global trend that seeks to reduce the use of polluting energies and replace them with clean and environmentally friendly sources of energy, in conjunction with the corporation’s launch of the “Think About Tomorrow” initiative, which aims to adopt environmentally friendly practices such as eliminating On gas burning and oil leakage, generating renewable energies to supply the oil fields with clean energy, and planting a million trees in the fields and areas near oil operations .
The high-level pavilion of the corporation received a large turnout from Tunisian state officials in the field of energy and oil, in the presence of a group of ambassadors from a number of countries, specialists and those interested in the field of oil and gas .
