The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NOC meets with the Director General of the Libyan Foreign Bank

Today, Thursday, August 5, 2021, the Chairman of the Board, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, met at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli, the Director General of the Libyan Foreign Bank, Mr. Khaled Al-Consul, and the Director of the Marketing and External Relations Department, Dr. Abdel Moneim Atbiqa, in the presence of the Director General of International Marketing in charge Naima Al-Sawwan , Director of the Commercial Department of the National Corporation, Al-Sadiq Bayou, Director General of Financial Affairs, Abu Al-Eid Salem, and Lutfi Ghaita, the financial advisor.
At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla welcomed the honorable attendees from the Libyan Foreign Bank, and emphasized the old historical relationship between the National Oil Corporation and the Libyan Foreign Bank, and the institution’s total dependence on the bank with regard to sales of crude oil and imported fuels, and that all transactions and transfers do not take place. Except through the Libyan Foreign Bank.
For his part, the Director General of the Libyan Foreign Bank, Khaled Al-Consul, said that this meeting aims to strengthen and develop relations between the National Oil Corporation and the Libyan Foreign Bank. have been achieved.
In the same context, Mr. Khaled Al-Consul expressed his desire to open new horizons for joint cooperation between the Libyan Foreign Bank and the National Corporation, stressing that the Libyan Foreign Bank appreciates the value of the National Oil Corporation “as a distinguished, main and strategic customer of the Libyan Foreign Bank.”
The meeting also included several discussions on common topics and works, and a review of the available and possible options to overcome difficulties and remove obstacles that stand in the way of the work of the two institutions.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors affirmed his deep confidence in the capabilities and work of the Director General of the Libyan Foreign Bank, Mr. Khaled Al-Consul, and all his employees.
