Russia to reopen its embassy in Tripoli and consulate in Benghazi.

Deputy Director of the Middle East Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ivan Molotkov has expressed his country’s intention to resume its diplomatic activity by reopening its embassy in Tripoli and the Consulate General in Benghazi, in implementation of the directives of Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

This came during the visit of a delegation assigned by First Deputy Prime Minister, Hussein Al-Qatrani, on Monday, to Russia, and its meeting with the Deputy Director of the Middle East Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Molotkov welcomed the delegation and the coordinating efforts to make the upcoming official visit of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity to Russia a success.
