The annual meeting of the Oil Institute for Rehabilitation and Training for the year 2019 was held at NOC headquarters in Tripoli, headed by NOC chairman.
The estimated budget for 2020 was presented in the meeting. NOC Chairman stressed the importance of the Oil Institute for Rehabilitation and Training, as NOC relies on it for the training and qualification of local cadres to meet the sector’s needs of technical workers specialized in various operations in the oil sector.
NOC Chairman and members of the Board of Directors asked the Institute’s Board of Directors to prepare a comprehensive plan for the Institute’s trainers, which will be implemented in stages, by injecting new blood into the teaching staff, and they affirmed National Oil Corporation’s support for the Institute and its cadres to overcom all the difficulties faced.
The head of the institute’s management committee reviewed a number of the accomplishments that were carried out last year, among which were the modernization of sports stadiums, maintenance and furnishing of students internal housing and supplies of electrical generators to overcome the problem of power outages for the institute and its departments, and finally an agreement to update the curriculum.
