Ras Lanuf company ships polyethylene to 164 factories in Libya.

Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Company confirmed the shipment of its production of polyethylene products to 164 factories in Libya, after the completion of a number of projects, and the resumption of production in a number of the company’s sites in 2023.

The company said that it had shipped the products to the local market and to registered factories in accordance with the controls and procedures approved by the purchase office.

“This comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to meet the needs of the local market, as the polyethylene plant management users keen on the smooth work and stability of production operations on a daily basis for the high-density polyethylene product.” The company said.

In this December, more than one oil tanker, loaded with propylene gas, and headed to Southeast Asia, specifically China. The company said that despite all the force majeure measures, they have reached a stage in which tankers continue to ship the ethylene plant’s products and export them to global markets after a 12-year hiatus.
