Head of the Medical Supply Department met a European delegation headed by an international expert who supervises the EU funded health promotion program in Libya in a number of Libyan municipalities.
The procedures and policies of medicine in Libya, mechanisms for the provision and distribution of medical supplies to health facilities and steps taken by the system to regulate these policies through an electronic system to determine the medical needs were reviewed.
The cooperation between the medical supply system and the European program to promote the health system in Libya, and the procedures sufficient to achieve objectives and overcome the difficulties that may face its application were also discussed.
The meeting was held at the medical supply headquarters in Tripoli and attended by Director of the Primary Health Care Department at the Ministry of Health, member of the Management Committee of the Medical Supply Department and a number of consultants and specialists.
