Poland is preparing to reopen its Embassy in the capital, Tripoli, and resume its activity, including the consular section for granting Schengen visas to Libyan citizens, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity.

This came during the reception of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Issa, with a delegation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by the Director of the Africa and Middle East Department.

For his part, Issa appreciated this important step, stressing that the Libyan government is urging countries to return their diplomatic embassies to work from Tripoli.
