The Minister of Oil and Gas Mohammed Oun said the Ministry is ready to boost cooperation with US oil companies as well as France’s Total and Italy’s Eni, which are very vital in Libya’s oil sector and the Ministry can increase investments with them.
Oun added Monday in a meeting with the production official, Refat Al-Abbar, and the legal advisor, Adel Jabril, that they are looking forward to cooperating with those companies, discussing as well the statements of Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah to Bloomberg about the oil and gas conferences in Texas and Tripoli, in addition to Eni and Total’s investment offers in Libya.
Al-Abbar said the Ministry was ready to support the conferences to open the door for investment opportunities with the US, and the Italian and French oil companies.
