Oil Minister discusses cooperation and investment prospects with Austria .

In a meeting with Austrian Ambassador to Libya, Christoph Meyenburg and his accompanying delegation, Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun presented an overview of the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the laws in force in the Libyan state, especially in the oil field.

During the meeting, which was held at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, Aoun referred to the investment prospects in the sector in the offshore and main land areas and the vast sites that have not yet been explored.

For his part, the Austrian ambassador affirmed that his country can assess the opportunities available in the Libyan oil and gas field and that it is ready to provide assistance for the mutual interest of both countries.
