NOC signs agreement with Ministry of Labour to replace foreign personnel with Libyans.

The Libyan News Agency has reported that the National Oil Corporation signed, on Sunday, an agreement with the Ministry of Labour aimed at facilitating administrative procedures between the two sides to implement Law No. 81 regarding training of national personnel to replace foreign expatriates in Libyan oil companies.

The agreement aims – according to the source – at setting up a working mechanism to facilitate the OIC and its companies obtaining the required work approvals in accordance with the measures of the Ministry of Labour, and ensure OIC commitment to implementing training programmes for national elements among job seekers and provide them with opportunities to work in the sector according to the available resources.
