NOC reviews with Schlumberger plans to boost its output.

The head of the state-run oil corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, discussed with the General Manager of Schlumberger, Libya Branch, Mustafa Ajaj improving production rates and means to boost its output.

The two sides reviewed plans to carry out maintenance work for closed wells in order to put them back in service, besides the company’s contribution to sustainable development and capacity building and developments regarding the repayment of the company’s debts owed to the NOC.

Sanalla praised Schlumberger’s contribution to the sustainable development and social responsibility programs in its areas of operation.

For his part, Schlumberger’s official stressed his company’s desire to strengthen relations with local communities, saying that the NOC relies on its long-term relationship with Schlumberger to contribute to increasing the rates of Libyan oil production.
