The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Monday that the aggregate revenues accrued from the sales of crude oil, gas, and their derivatives in January 2024 amounted to an estimated sum of 1.7 billion US dollars.
The disclosure comes after the Ministry of Oil and Gas released the revenue figures for the preceding month. The NOC bulletin revealed that revenue generated from crude oil sales in January accounted for 1.5 billion US dollars, while gas and condensate sales contributed 109.919 million US dollars to the total income.
Additionally, petroleum products brought about 49.77 million US dollars, and petrochemicals earned 14.175 million US dollars.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Oil and Gas announced on February 4th, 2024, that it had collected oil revenues amounting to 1.47 billion dinars for the same month.
In its monthly newsletter, the Ministry’s General Administration of Company Accounting stated that the amount was collected from concession and participation contract companies (ConocoPhillips and Total Energies), including royalties and taxes on the exported quantities of crude oil produced during the period.
