NOC invests in better healthcare for communities across Central and Eastern Libya.

National Oil Corporation (NOC)’s Department of Sustainable Development and the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (Agoco), an NOC subsidiary, delivered 4 modern fire trucks with high technical specifications to the municipalities of Ajdabiya, Awjila, Kufra and Tazirbu on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Benghazi.  
Earlier this week, the Department of Sustainable Development also delivered safety and protection equipment for firefighters and the National Safety Authority in Benghazi. The professional equipment included 200 safety suits, heat-resistant anti-fire gloves and safety helmets and shoes. 
“NOC commends the tireless work of the National Safety Authority. The Department of Sustainable Development strives to provide full support to the staff of the Authority. May Allah help them serve our country and the people. ,” said Mr Mokhtar Abdedayem, Manager of NOC’s Sustainable Development Department. 
The handover ceremony for the equipment was attended by Mr Mohammed Ben Shatwan, chairman of Agoco’s Management Committee, Mr Ashraf Alabbar, member of Agoco’s Management Committee, Mr Abdel Muttalib Adam, member of Agoco’s Management Committee, Mr Ahmad al-Tayeb, acting controller of NOC’s Benghazi branch, Mr Mohammed Al Jahani , head of NOC’s Follow-up Section for sustainable development projects in the Central and Eastern regions, Mr Haitham Al-Manqoush and Ms Fatima Gader, supervisors of sustainable development programmes in the Eastern region, as well as the members of Ajdabiya, Awjilah, Kufra and Tazirbu municipal councils. 
It should be noted that NOC has provided the National Safety Authority in Benghazi with 5 new fire trucks over the past few weeks.
