NOC discusses suspended projects with TAPO.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) is negotiating with the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TAPO), which expressed its interest to return to Libya, the possibility of resuming its exploration activities in area 147 at the Murzuq Basin, and to invest in the development of oil fields.

The deputy head of exploration for the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), Mehmet Al-Kallan, who is visiting Libya, met with the NOC head Mustafa Sanalla at his office in Tripoli on Sunday in the presence of the head of Turkish international projects and business development, Kajri Cern and the Secretary of the Turkish Embassy in Libya, Olham Oktim.

Sanalla said the Corporation is working to broaden its relations and projects with major international companies, particularly in the exploration and production field, and shift to its clean energy strategy in the oil regions.
