The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has completed drilling two new high-capacity wells at the Sharara oil field, boosting production by 7,000 barrels per day.
According to an NOC statement, the two development wells, A41H and A44, were drilled by Akakus Oil Operations and are expected to contribute significantly to output, producing 3,500 barrels per day.
Preliminary evaluations show promising reservoir characteristics, and the wells are expected to be integrated into the production line soon, further supporting Libya’s oil recovery and export efforts
