The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce recognised National Oil Corporation (NOC) chairman, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla, this week with a ‘Visionary Leadership’ award at the Chamber’s 22nd annual Board of Advisors dinner.
Congratulating Chairman Sanalla on receiving the award, Michael Hatfield, Regional President for ConocoPhillips, responsible for Libya, praised him for his achievements in leading the recovery of his country’s oil production, his steadfast approach to the safety of his staff and their operations, and his efforts to protect the independence of NOC and to distance the institution from political conflict.
The award, presented on the sidelines of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, USA, is an annual ceremony gathering C-suite executives, Ministers, US and foreign Ambassadors, as well as global decision-makers to commemorate those who have left their mark on industry, navigated threats, and seized opportunities in extraordinary circumstances.
