NOC Chairman received at NOC headquarters in Tripoli the President of the Municipal Council in Gemayel Region, dignitaries, officials of education, health and service sectors and the civil society organizations in Gemayel.
The members of the delegation thanked the Chairman for the warm reception and appreciated the great efforts of NOC in preserving the country’s most important economic resources and affirmed their full support.
NOC Chairman welcomed the members of the delegation assuring them that NOC is committed to all Libyans in accordance with the national responsibility to solve bottlenecks according the estimates determined by NOC Department of Sustainable Development in coordination with the local and municipal councils in various Libyan regions, especially neighboring oilfield sites and ports.
The delegation also mentioned the problems facing the Gemayel region so that the sustainable development plan will include implementation of some urgent services such as completion of some health and education facilities and water wells.
The Chairman stated that NOC will contribute in alleviation of the suffering of citizens in all Libyan regions and requested the visiting delegation to communicate with the Department of Sustainable Development to assess the needs of the region according to priorities and in accordance with the possibilities of the administration and its regulations in this regard and pointed out that NOC has adopted a strategic plan to assess the environmental situation with the participation of national experts.
