NOC Chairman inspects El Shaab port, Al-Hani storage facility, and Tripoli fuel stations

National Oil Corporation chairman, Eng. Mustafa Sanalla conducted a field visit to inspect Tripoli fuel and gas supply operations on Saturday, April 06, 2019, visiting the El Shaab port, Al-Hani gas storage facility and fuel stations in the city. The NOC chairman is closely monitoring the emerging situation in and around Tripoli and confirmed that all varieties of fuel are currently available. He further stressed that the corporation and Brega Petroleum Marketing Company (BPMC) are sparing no effort to provide fuel to all Libyan citizens across the country.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors commended the efforts of staff at all sites and facilities, especially given current circumstances, to preserve the national economy and meet the fuel needs of citizens. He further emphasized NOC’s permanent support for oil and gas sector workers, describing them as the unknown soldiers who serve the Libyan people everywhere and at all times.
NOC Chairman was accompanied by Mr Khaled Bukhtwa, general manager of NOC’s Health, Safety, Environment, Security and Sustainable Development Department, and Mr Ibrahim Abu Baridah, acting chairman of the BPMC management committee.
