The General National Maritime Transport Company has purchased a new crude oil tanker ‘Ebn Hawkel 2021’, the first purchase in 10 years.
The company said in a statement that the construction of the tanker took place under the strict supervision of the British classification company, Lloyds, which has the highest degree of standards, safety and environmental care, and conforms the standards of all major oil companies.
It confirmed that the purchase of the tanker is a welcome addition to it and should significantly contribute to the improvement of the performance of the Libyan naval fleet.
