New aircraft joins Libyan Air Ambulance fleet

The Management of the Mitiga International Airport announced the addition of a new aircraft Cessna Citation 680 Latitude to the Libyan Air Ambulance fleet, which is capable of travelling a distance of 5,000 km without needing to refuel.

According to the airport management, the plane was purchased from the Textron Company, adding that the plane was built as recently as 2020.

The aircraft contains a fully equipped special care bed and it counts as the third in a fleet of three air ambulances in total.
