National Oil Corporation supports Tabawi Cultural Salon

On Thursday, December 31, 2020, the Department of Sustainable Development of the National Oil Corporation ( NOC ), distributed a number of awards to the top three winners of the Tabawi Heritage Short Story Festival.
The National Oil Corporation’s contribution comes within the framework of supporting cultural activity in the country and highlighting the cultural identity of the Tabu as an important part of the cultural composition of the Libyan state, and believing in the principle of cultural diversity and promoting cultural differences and peaceful coexistence.
It is worth mentioning that the short story competition is an opportunity to introduce young talent and open the knowledge horizons of citizens, by introducing its cultural compositions through all means of writing, including creative writing, where the short story is one of its most prominent tools.
The awards ceremony was attended by Mr. Zakaria Adam, President of the Tabuwi Cultural Salon Organization, and a number of writers from the General Authority for Media, Culture and Civil Society, as well as Mr. Mohammed Al-Jahani and Mr. Haitham Al-Mangoush from the Department of Sustainable Development of NOC.
