The National General Company for Maritime Transport has revealed a new plan to develop its fleet during the period 2020-2030 in the context of enhancing competition in the field of maritime transport.
The company clarified that since 2017 it has initiated the formation of technical committees to evaluate the current fleet of twenty-two tankers.
The company’s fleet consists of 21 tankers active in transporting crude oil and oil products, in addition to a grain transport vessel.
It also indicated that it had cooperated with professional firms to develop studies and strategies in the framework of preparing fleet development plans.
