Ministry of Health discusses cooperation with the Italian TDH organization.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs and Bureau, Samir Koko, discussed with the Regional Director of the Italian organization Terre des Hommes (TDH) cooperation in training health workers in the areas of physical therapy and mental health, in addition to signing a memorandum of understanding between the two sides.

During the meeting held at the Ministry’s office in Tripoli, the organization’s representative provided a comprehensive explanation of the organization’s activity in Libya in supporting pediatric oncology departments in Tripoli and Benghazi and supporting health facilities in the south in a way that ensures facilitating the reception and provision of services for people with disabilities.

Koko confirmed that the Libyan Ministry of Health welcomes cooperation with it in the health aspect in accordance with the procedures and laws in force in Libya, according to the Communication Office of the Ministry.

He highlighted that building a health work network requires unified efforts and joint coordination to strengthen the primary health care system, praising the role of the TDH organization in supporting the health sector.
