The pass rate for the primary school leaving certificate achieved 62.4% for the academic year 2019-2020.
According to the results published by the Ministry of Education in the Government of National Accord on Tuesday, 99,222 mixed students took the exam, of whom 61,943 students passed, whilst 37,267 students will be expected to re-sit the exam.
A further 25,042 students excelled receiving the highest grades, whilst 23,805 students attained the grade of ‘very good’ and 1171 students achieved a ‘pass’ grade.
