Ministry of Economy considers return of five major Turkish companies to Libya

An advisor to the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Shader Essid, held discussions with the trade advisor of the Turkish embassy in Libya, Yusef Yildir, on the return of five largest Turkish companies to Libya in order to resume the implementation of previously agreed projects.

Both sides also reviewed obstacles facing the return of Turkish companies and the role assigned to the Ministry of Economy and Trade in overcoming them by taking all necessary measures and procedures in accordance with legal frameworks.

The Ministry of Economy and Trade confirmed that the meeting comes on the back of an agreement between the minister and the Turkish ambassador in the past number of days, regarding the return of Turkish companies and the selection of five of them initially, in order to resume their work in Libya as soon as possible.
