The Ministry of Economy and Industry announced on Wednesday, the lifting of subsidies on kerosene used in commercial and industrial purposes.
In its decision, the ministry indicated that the price of kerosene for commercial and industrial purposes would be set at 850 dirhams per litre, which is the cost of production.
Prices of Kerosene used for domestic consumption will remain at the previous subsidized price until the in-kind to similar products like gasoline and diesel – which a decision in this regard will be issued shortly- is replaced with cash, according to the decision.
