Minister of Oil confirms the ministry efforts to restore oil production.

The Oil and Gas Minister, Mohamed Aoun, has confirmed during his meeting with Turkey’s ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, the ministry efforts to restore oil production and the impact of oil closures on the Libyan economy.

Both officials reviewed cooperation between Turkish companies and the oil and gas sector in various fields such as renewable energies, marine seismic surveys, spare parts, and maintenance for current equipment and pipelines, according to the Oil Ministry.

They also discussed joint cooperation with Malta and Greece regarding marine discoveries.
