Minister of Economy reviews increased trade cooperation with Indonesia.

The Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammed Al-Huweij discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy in Libya trade and investment relations between the two countries. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between chambers of commerce and business owners in the two countries.

The two sides also went over the possibility of developing and activating agreements and memoranda of understanding in the fields of trade and investment, and arranging an expanded meeting that includes chambers of commerce and business owners’ councils to present and discuss the difficulties facing companies in the two countries, according to the Ministry’s statement on Facebook.

The two sides agreed to continue consultation on the signed trade agreements and the mechanismfor activating them, and to work to facilitate the movement of business owners and procedures related to companies wishing to work in the Libyan and Indonesian markets, in addition to increasing the volume of participation in exhibitions and economic events organized in both countries.
