The Mellitah complex and the connected Sabratha gas platform offshore Libya, as well as the onshore Wafa gas field have now closed for scheduled maintenance.
The shutdown began on April 2, sources said. Libya’s state run NOC previously announced that the Sabratha platform would be under maintenance for two weeks.
The platform is at Libya’s offshore Bahr Essalam gas field, which like Wafa is operated by Mellitah, a JV between NOC and Italy’s ENI.
