Maltese Minister of Finance and Labour Clyde Caruana has reiterated his country’s readiness to work closely with Libya to support economic trends and open horizons for cooperation and trade exchange.
The minister’s remarks came at a press conference in Misrata during his visit to the city on Wednesday, in which he met with the mayor and local officials.
“Maltese businessmen are looking forward to working again in Libya and for the return of relations between Malta and Libya,” he said.
According to a statement by Misrata Municipality on Facebook, the Maltese Minister discussed with members of the municipal council mechanisms of cooperation in several areas, the most important of which, economic and commercial domains.
