During his meeting with the Ambassador of Malta in Libya, Khaled al-Mishri stressed the importance of returning commercial cooperation with Malta and providing all facilities for the return of the Maltese embassy and consulate to work from the capital, Tripoli.
For his part, the Maltese ambassador to Libya Charles Saliba, affirmed that there is a real desire to resume commercial activity between Libya and Malta, and the re-issuance of Schengen visas for Libyan citizens to enter Malta and the European Union countries for the purposes of trade, study and treatment.
Saliba added, in his meeting with the President of the State Supreme Council Khaled Al-Mashri, Thursday in Tripoli, that the granting of tourist visas will be available once the exceptional circumstances related to the Corona pandemic improvement.
